Faculty members at the Faculties of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences participate in the Thirtieth Jordan Pharmacist Conference

A number of faculty members at the Faculties of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences participated in the opening ceremony of the Thirtieth Jordan Pharmacist Conference entitled “Pharmacology: Creativity and Excellence” hosted by the Jordanian Pharmacists Association within the annual events of the Association. The conference was held in Landmark Hotel - Amman, in the period between 22-24/4/2010. It was inaugurated on behalf of the Prime Minister, His Excellency Dr. Nayef Al-Fayez, by the Minister of Health, in the presence of a large group of guests, pharmacists and participants in the conference. Dr. Ashok Shakya presented a scientific paper within the activities of the first day of the conference entitled “Formal synthesis and antibacterial properties of new N-4-acetylated hexahydro-2, 7-dioxo-pyrido [2,3-f]-quinoxaline-8-carboxylic acids”. The Faculty continues to support and enhance the quality of pharmaceutical health care and develop the capabilities of the academic and research faculty members, through their presence and participation in such forums.
