Educational Visit by Law Students to the Jordanian Bar Association
As part of their academic and professional development, and to enhance students' understanding of the values and ethics that underpin the legal profession, law students from the Legal Ethics course at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, under the supervision of Dr. Hamzeh Al-Ayada, organized a field visit to the Jordanian Bar Association.
The visit aimed to introduce students to the organizational structure that governs the legal profession in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. It also sought to raise students' awareness of the importance of adhering to legal ethics and professional conduct.
During the visit, students toured various departments of the Association’s new headquarters, which was inaugurated by His Majesty King Abdullah II on February 3, 2025. The staff at the Association warmly welcomed the students and provided them with detailed explanations about the functions and roles of the different departments.
The students showed great engagement and actively participated in discussions. They asked insightful questions and held open dialogues with the staff regarding the ethical foundations of the legal profession, the challenges it faces, and the importance of maintaining ethical integrity under all professional circumstances. The visit concluded with a shared understanding that professional ethics remain the strongest safeguard in navigating modern changes, and that upholding the integrity of the legal profession is essential for ensuring justice and enhancing the reputation of legal practice in our beloved Kingdom.
