Dr. Yara Ayyad Participates in the International Conference on Environmental Design, Materials Science, and Engineering Technology in the United Arab Emirates

Dr. Yara Ayyad, Head of the Architectural Engineering Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at AAU, participated in the international conference held at Abu Dhabi University in the United Arab Emirates, titled "Environmental Design, Materials Science, and Engineering Technology," on April 22-24, 2024. She presented a research paper titled "The Effect of Housing Cluster Module Geometry on Air Flow and Outdoor Thermal Comfort for Occupants: A Case Study of Amman, Jordan." This research paper will be published in a book titled "Advances in Science, Technology & Innovation," listed in the global Scopus database. Dr. Ayyad's participation aligns with the faculty and university’s policy of openness towards academic institutions at regional and international levels, and promotes applied scientific partnerships in the fields of architecture. This approach is in line with the university’s vision, policy, and core values.
