Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazaleh Sponsors the First Tourism Forum in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Under the auspices of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, inaugurated the First Tourist Forum held in Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Maher Salim, President of the University, deans of faculties, and a large gathering of students. Dr. Haifa thanked Al-Ahliyya Amman University administration, represented by its president, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, for inviting her to patronize this forum, and for the warm reception and hospitality by the University. Dr. Abu Ghazaleh addressed tourism, its objectives and strategies, and stated that the Ministry seeks to boost tourism locally and internationally through continuous and organized campaigns to promote the tourist areas and archaeological sites in the Kingdom. She also referred to the economic conditions experienced by the region, which in turn affect tourism in the Kingdom. This requires concerted efforts and conducting a national campaign to encourage tourism and stimulate citizens to visit tourist attractions and archaeological sites at affordable prices, she added. Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences thanked the sponsor of the ceremony and the President of the University.
