Dr. Al-Hourani Welcomes the CEO of the Jordan Kuwait Bank at Al Ahliyya Amman University
Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Al Ahliyya Amman University, received the CEO of Jordan Kuwait Bank, Mr. Haitham Al-Batikh, accompanied by the Head of Business Development at the bank, Mr. Zuhdi Al-Jayousi, to strengthen cooperation between the two parties.
The meeting was attended by the Vice President of Al Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Anas Al-Saud, and the President's Advisor and Dean of Graduate Studies, Professor Hadeel Yassin.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Maher Al-Hourani welcomed Mr. Haitham Al-Batikh and Mr. Zuhdi Al-Jayousi, expressing his appreciation for the fruitful partnership between the university and Jordan Kuwait Bank.
The meeting discussed several joint initiatives aimed at developing academic and research activities, as well as promoting innovation and excellence at the university. Prof. Anas Al-Saud provided a detailed explanation of the university's achievements, particularly in enhancing its quality standards and global rankings, stimulating scientific research, and updating a comprehensive system of disciplines that align with the ever-evolving demands of the labor market. He emphasized the university’s commitment to utilizing all its resources to serve its students and provide an optimal educational environment that develops their abilities and helps them achieve their academic and professional goals. He also presented the university's vision for the next five years.
For his part, Mr. Haitham Al-Batikh expressed the Jordan Kuwait Bank's readiness to support various activities and initiatives that contribute to achieving the academic and developmental goals of Al Ahliyya Amman University.
The two sides discussed ways of cooperation on future projects, including training and development programs for students, as well as joint research projects.
At the end of the visit, the delegation toured several university facilities, including the Faculty of Dentistry, the Arena Complex, the Department of Physiotherapy, and the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
