Dr. Al-Hakim Masoud presents a theatrical work entitled “Fermiology”

Dr. Al-Hakim Masoud, a faculty member in the Department of Film, Television and Theater Design, presented a theatrical work entitled "Fermiology" under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and in cooperation with the National Center for Culture and Arts. The theatrical work’s scenography, production and direction was done by Dr. Al-Hakim Massoud, and the cast included Imad Al-Shaer and Maram Abu Al-Hija, the musical composition was done by Abdul Razzaq Mataria, lighting by Kifah Qabaja and Makram Al-Kafawin, the implementation of the decoration by Ahmed Al-Sahouri, makeup by Areen Arabiyat, and the assistant directors were Youssef Al-Shawabkeh and Yasmine Al-Dallo. The work, which was presented at the Royal Cultural Centre and at the Osama Al-Mashini Theatre, was well received by the audience because it discusses an issue with social dimensions related to women's rights. It is noteworthy that this theatrical work started as a workshop in Tunisia developed and worked on by the director, and it is a dramatic hour that combines tragedy and black comedy in which actors live on stage within a narrow framework of prevailing patterns. This participation comes within the framework of the department's policy of openness to institutions concerned with artistic affairs, and an affirmation of the role of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in supporting community service activities.
