Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design at AAU Organizes a Workshop Entitled “Introduction to Packaging”

The Department of Multimedia Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at AAU, in cooperation with the National Center for Packaging (JOPACK), organized a workshop entitled “Introduction to Packaging” for students of the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design. The workshop was presented by the director of the center, Mr. Youssef Abu Attia. It included an introduction to packaging, the materials used in the packaging industry, their types, packaging printing technology, and sustainable packaging. This workshop aligns with the mission of the department and faculty, which aims to develop students’ skills, enhance their efficiency, and prepare them for the labor market by facilitating communication with practitioners and specialists in the field. Additionally, it falls within the framework of activating the memorandum of understanding signed between the university, represented by the Faculty of Architecture and Design, and the National Center for Packaging since the academic year 2022/2023.
