Delegation from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Visits AAU to Explore Academic Cooperation Opportunities

Al-Ahliyya Amman University recently welcomed a delegation from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Jordan, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance academic and research collaboration and expand opportunities for scientific exchange between the university and German educational institutions. The visiting delegation was led by Professor Hebatallah Fathy, DAAD Regional Director, accompanied by Ms. Amani Qassis, Events and Information Officer at the regional office. On behalf of the University President, Prof. Bashar Al-Tarawneh, the delegation was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering / Faculty of Technical Education, Dr. Fairooz Abu Suweilem, Director of the Global Engagement Center, Eng. Ahmad Al-Hourani, Director of the Marketing and Communications Unit, and Ms. Reem Abed, Head of International Outreach and Partnerships at the Global Engagement Center. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen mutual collaboration, particularly in academic fields, and to enable students and faculty members to benefit from study and research opportunities at German universities. The visit included a campus tour, followed by an orientation session held at Al-Hourani Center, attended by a number of students and individuals interested in learning more about the academic opportunities offered by DAAD, particularly its wide range of scholarships and research programs available in Germany.
