Deanship of Scientific Research Honors Outstanding Professors for Conducting Research Training Courses

Professor Iman Al-Nazli, the Dean of Scientific Research, has recently commended a distinguished cohort of faculty members for their pivotal roles in conducting a series of research training courses spanning various faculties at the university. Outlined below are the recognized courses and their respective instructors: 1. Professor Hussein Al-Yasin from the Business School spearheaded a course titled "Introduction to Academic Writing and Mixed Research Methods." This comprehensive session delved into the foundational aspects of constructing robust scientific research, emphasizing the scientific method, and underlining the significance of incorporating a mixed-methods approach in research design. Notably, the course showcased exemplary scientific research, providing a model for effective writing. 2. Dr. Lubna Al-Ghraibeh from the Faculty of Pharmacy guided a course on "Research Ethics." This essential course addressed the ethical principles governing the execution and documentation of scientific research and research projects. Dr. Al-Ghraibeh offered valuable insights into the ethical models practiced at the university. 3. Dr. Farah Awad from the Faculty of Engineering delivered a course on "Statistical Analysis System / SPSS," shedding light on the software's functionalities, data input procedures, and statistical analysis methods. The course equipped participants with the skills to derive logical and accurate results in scientific research. 4. Mr. Luay Al-Maani presented a course on "Partial Least Squares (PLS) Software," a tool utilized for structural equation modeling through the least squares’ method. The software's noteworthy adaptability for both small and large sample sizes was a focal point of the course, covering its application in analyzing data crucial to research projects. These courses have garnered acclaim and acknowledgment from faculty members, who lauded the Research Deanery for its continuous and outstanding efforts in delivering valuable scientific and research-oriented content.
