Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Holds Meeting with Faculty Members

As part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to strengthen communication and collaboration between the administration and the academic staff, Professor Linda AlKhawaja, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, held an extended meeting with new and returning faculty members on Monday, October 6, 2025. The meeting came within the framework of the Faculty’s continuous commitment to enhancing the academic environment and promoting a culture of quality and continuous development across all its programs. During the meeting, Prof. AlKhawaja reaffirmed the Faculty’s strong commitment to ensuring the quality of its academic programs and its adherence to national and international accreditation standards. She emphasized that the Faculty continuously develops its curricula and courses in line with quality assurance frameworks to enhance student learning outcomes and ensure the best academic results from the very beginning of the semester. The meeting also addressed several key academic priorities, including improving the teaching and learning environment in all programs, supporting scientific research through the establishment of joint research teams within and across departments, and expanding external partnerships to strengthen research productivity and knowledge exchange. Prof. AlKhawaja expressed her delight at welcoming a new group of academic staff members, wishing them success in their professional journey and encouraging their active contribution to the Faculty’s continued growth and excellence. She also extended her appreciation to all faculty members for their dedication and commitment, highlighting the importance of teamwork, constructive dialogue, and sustained collaboration between the administration and the academic staff to achieve continuous improvement in teaching, research, and community service.
