Cooperation Agreement Between AAU and United Pharmaceutical Industries Factory
As part of Al-Ahliyya Amman University's strategy to strengthen its partnerships with the industrial sector, contributing to the preparation of qualified graduates capable of facing labor market challenges and achieving sustainable development, the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university, represented by Dean Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib, signed a cooperation agreement with United Pharmaceutical Industries Factory, represented by the factory's CEO, Dr. Nidal Khalifat, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Training Affairs, Dr. Harith Ahmad.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties in the fields of scientific research, practical training, and curriculum development to align with the needs of the pharmaceutical industry labor market.
Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, emphasized the importance of this partnership in enabling students to acquire advanced practical skills through training in a developed industrial environment. She also noted that the agreement represents a qualitative step in enhancing interaction between the university and the pharmaceutical industry sector on a national level.
On his part, Dr. Nidal Khalifat, CEO of United Pharmaceutical Industries Factory, expressed his happiness in signing this agreement, which reflects the factory's vision in supporting higher education and scientific research. He reaffirmed the factory's commitment to providing an excellent educational environment for students.
The agreement includes several cooperation items, such as organizing joint workshops, providing students with opportunities for field training at the factory, and performing joint research projects aimed at developing innovative pharmaceutical products.
