Cooperation Agreement Between AAU and the National Council for Family Affairs

Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU), represented by its President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, signed a cooperation agreement with the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA), represented by its Secretary-General, Dr. Mohammad Fakhry Maqdadi. The agreement was coordinated through the Psychological Care Center affiliated with AAU's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Hanan Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Dr. Fidaa Abu Khair, Director of AAU’s Psychological Care Center. On behalf of the NCFA, the attendees included Mr. Mohammad Al-Zoubi, Assistant Secretary-General for Technical Affairs; Ms. Ghada Al-Qadi, Director of Planning and Studies; Mr. Hamza Mansour, Head of Logistics; and Ms. Abeer Al-Daqas, Studies Specialist. The agreement aims to enhance institutional collaboration in the fields of mental health and family support through joint training programs and research projects. These initiatives focus on building the capacity of professionals and improving the quality of services offered to the community. Prof. Sari Hamdan emphasized the university's commitment to advancing scientific research and improving the psychological and social services provided to students under the supervision of faculty members in the Clinical Psychology department. Dr. Mohammad Maqdadi highlighted the importance of the NCFA’s collaboration with the university in addressing family-related issues with a scientific approach. He stressed the importance of implementing the agreement to create positive outcomes for both the community and professionals in the family field. Both parties expressed their commitment to developing strategic partnerships and organizing awareness workshops for university students, contributing to sustainable development and addressing societal and family-related challenges.
