Conclusion of the adjudication of works participating in the Al-Hourani Arts and Design Award in its third edition (Our Humanity Unites Us)

The jury committee of the Al-Hourani Arts and Design Award has concluded the adjudication process of the submitted works, totaling 55 entries, distributed across the award's four categories: Design of Advertising Posters, Photography, Drawing, and Graphic Design/Short Animated Videos. Dr. Hanan Al-Sheikh, the Head of the Al-Hourani Arts and Design Award Committee and the Vice Dean for Accreditation and Quality, stated that the adjudication process consisted of three distinct stages. These stages included the initial screening and coding of the submitted works, followed by the elimination of entries that did not meet the award's criteria, and finally, the final adjudication to select the winning works. The adjudication committee consisted of three specialized external judges and two internal judges from the Faculty of Architecture and Design. The announcement of the winners' names is expected to take place by the end of July 2023.
