College of Arts and Sciences Celebrates World Mental Health Day

The Clinical Psychology Department at the College of Arts and Sciences, under the supervision of the Head of the Clinical Psychology Department, Dr. Farida Boulsonan, participated in the celebration of World Mental Health Day. The department organized an awareness activity on October 22, 2023, attended by the college's dean, faculty, and students. The program included various awareness and guidance segments that focused on the concept of individuals' mental health and the role of mental health specialists in providing assistance when needed. It also included interactive stations with different topics, such as self-awareness, protection shield, psychological stress and concepts, addiction, breast cancer, and mental health for patients and their families. These activities aimed to raise awareness about the importance of mental health care and increased awareness.
