An Orientation Day for the Faculty of Pharmacy students

A joyful atmosphere prevailed with the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023, for the new students who joined Al-Ahliyya Amman University to pursue their dreams and studies. The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University welcomed the new students on board on Tuesday 8/11/2022, under the guidance of Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani.The ceremony’s opening started by playing the royal anthem followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, where afterwards, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani welcomed the attendees and congratulated the new students on joining the field of pharmaceutical studies, wishing them a successful year full of success and excellence.Prof. Al-Tanani stated the international accreditations that the faculty has been eager to obtain during the previous academic year as well as the establishments of the Pharmacological and Diagnostic Research Center (PDRC) in affiliation with the faculty that supports scientific research and experiments of the academic members and students working on certain studies and students completing their MA thesis. In addition, Prof. Mohammad mentioned that the Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the university's valuable assets that seeks to achieve scientific excellence and continuous development to serve the public health system and to reach a prominent position globally over and above to appreciate the role of the pharmacists in providing health care to the patient, whether in or out patients. He has also assured that the faculty is keen to graduate well-educated and skilled pharmacists qualified to work in pharmacies, pharmaceutical manufactories and companies and other different fields at the labor market. The ceremony also included a detailed video presentation of the faculty and a Q&A session and concluded with honoring the coordinators and organizers of this fruitful meeting.
