Al-Ja’afari Wins Two Gold Medals in Asian Karate, Dedicates Success to Jordan and Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Jordanian national team athlete and Al-Ahliyya Amman University superstar Mohammed Al-Ja’afari made a remarkable accomplishment by securing two gold medals at the conclusion of the Asian Karate Championship, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with the participation of elite champions from across the continent. Al-Ja’afari won the first gold in the under-84 kg weight category, after his Japanese opponent, Shimada Rikuto, withdrew from the final match. His second gold came in the team kumite competition, where Al-Ja’afari led the national team to a dramatic 3–2 triumph over Iran in the final showdown. The men’s national team comprises Saeed Al-Najjar, Mohammed Al-Ja’afari, Amin Al-Maghrebi, Abdul Rahman Al-Musatfa, Afif Ghaith, Abdullah Hammad, and Ahmed Shadid. On this occasion, Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, expressed immense Pride in this accomplishment, stating: “We are proud of the champion Mohammed Al-Ja’afari, who raised the name of Jordan and our University high on the Asian stage. This triumph underscores Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s ongoing role as a hub for both athletic and academic excellence.”
