Al-Ahliyya Amman University Wins the Excellence Award in Pharmaceutical Research at the International Conference at Al-Mustansiriya University

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated with distinction in the 6th International Pharmaceutical Science Conference, organized by Al-Mustansiriya University in collaboration with the American University in Baghdad, held on February 19-20, 2025, at the American University. The conference, themed "Pharmaceutical Scientific Research: New Horizons for Innovation and Development," attracted a group of researchers and experts to discuss the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences and their clinical and industrial applications. Al-Ahliyya Amman University was represented at the conference by graduate student Tabarak Riyad Al-Samarrai, who presented an outstanding research paper titled: "Meta-analysis of nano-phytosomes: unleashing the potential of plant-derived compounds for advancing cancer therapy." The research was prepared as part of the activities of the Scientific Research Club at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Ali Al-Samaidai. The paper received significant attention from the attendees and reflected the university's advanced research direction in modern pharmaceutical fields. In recognition of this distinguished scientific effort, both Dr. Ali Al-Samaidai and student Tabarak Riyad Al-Samarrai were awarded the Excellence Award for the research by the conference organizing committee, marking a new achievement added to Al-Ahliyya Amman University's record in scientific research.
