Al-Ahliyya Amman University Receives a Delegation from the French Embassy in Jordan
Professor Ahmad Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received a delegation from the French Embassy in Jordan that included Professor Ouassila Saïdia, Attaché for Scientific and Higher Education Cooperation at the French Embassy, and Dr. Maysa Al-Murabit, Director of the Campus France Office in Jordan, affiliated with the French Institute.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Fairooz Abu Suweilem, Director of the Global Engagement Center, and Ms. Reem Al-Abd, Head of Communication and International Partnerships at the Center.
During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and French educational institutions. The participants reviewed opportunities available to students and faculty members in the areas of academic exchange, scientific research, and joint projects, as well as potential collaboration initiatives that could receive support from the French Embassy and the European Union.
Both parties emphasized the importance of expanding areas of mutual cooperation and building international academic partnerships that contribute to the development of educational and research programs. They also highlighted the role of such partnerships in enhancing opportunities for students and researchers to benefit from international expertise, exchange programs, and academic collaboration.
At the conclusion of the visit, the guests were given a tour of several university faculties and key facilities. They were introduced to the university’s modern learning environment, advanced infrastructure, and distinguished academic and research capabilities.
The delegation expressed their admiration for the level of development achieved by Al-Ahliyya Amman University and praised the advanced educational environment it provides, which supports academic excellence, scientific research, and openness to international partnerships and cooperation.
