Al-Ahliyya Amman University Receives a Delegation from Accor Group and Mövenpick Hotel Amman
Dr. Maher Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, accompanied by Mr. Ayman Rashid, General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Amman, welcomed a delegation from Accor Group and Mövenpick Hotel Amman at the University’s Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management campus the day before yesterday.
The visit came as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the academic sector and the hospitality industry, while providing students with the opportunity to learn about the latest professional practices and expertise in the tourism and hotel management sectors.
Dr. Maher Hourani expressed his appreciation for such meetings, which help build bridges of communication between students and industry leaders. He emphasized the importance of preparing qualified graduates capable of meeting the evolving demands of the labor market.
For their part, the Accor delegation praised the excellent organization and warm reception, as well as the students’ high level of enthusiasm, motivation, and interest in hospitality and tourism disciplines. They also commended the university’s efforts in preparing a promising generation of professionals for the hospitality industry.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of appreciation between both parties and a reaffirmation of the importance of continuing cooperation in ways that benefit students and contribute to the development of Jordan’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
In addition, Mr. Philip Jones, Senior Vice President of Operations for the Middle East and Africa, shared the following message on his Instagram page:
