Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participates in the National Conference on Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID)

Dr. Saad Al-Naasan, Head of the Departments of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, and Prof. Dr. Hashem Abu Turieh from the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the National Conference on Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID). The conference was organized by the Hussein Society Jordan Center for Training and Inclusive Development under the title “Enhancing Access to Inclusive Services at the Community Level in Jordan,” under the patronage of the Prime Minister. Prof. Dr. Hashem Abu Turieh moderated one of the panel sessions titled “Environmental Modifications and Their Role in Promoting Inclusive Community Development,” with five speakers representing the Ministry of Health, Al-Balqa Applied University, the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and the Hussein Society. It is worth noting that a training agreement is in place between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the Hussein Society, covering students of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, in addition to several programs within the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences. The participation of faculty members in this conference reflects Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s commitment, along with the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, to scientific and research activities and community service, in line with the university’s vision and objectives.
