Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participates in the 2025 Entrepreneurship Forum (ENGx 360)

The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Al-Ahliyya Amman University took part in the 2025 Engineering Entrepreneurship Forum, ENGx 360, in its second edition. The event was inaugurated under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Yazan Al-Shdeifat, Minister of Youth, and was organized by the Jordan Engineers Association and the Engineers Entrepreneurs Center. The forum was attended by the President of the Association, Eng. Ahmad Samara Al-Zoubi, along with a distinguished group of entrepreneurs, investors, experts, and researchers. This year’s forum focused on the theme of Green Economy and Sustainability in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The agenda included several panel discussions and lectures highlighting success stories from Jordanian entrepreneurs and engineers who have made significant contributions in their respective fields and projects. Key topics included sustainable manufacturing processes and value chains, innovative green business models, future demand for green revenues, and funding opportunities for businesses within the water-energy-food-environment nexus. Al-Ahliyya Amman University had a prominent presence at the forum, with 15 students from various faculties attending, along with several faculty members and staff from the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. During the event, student Sara Al-Hiyari presented her project, Smart Green House, which offers an advanced model for energy-efficient, intelligent agricultural greenhouses that enhance the quality and efficiency of crop production using technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analysis.
