Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participates in the 10th Arab Chemistry Olympiad

AAU, represented by the Faculty of Pharmacy, participated in the 10th Arab Chemistry Olympiad, hosted by the University of Jordan under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; in the presence of His Excellency Professor Dr. Nadhir Obaidat, President of the University of Jordan. The event included delegations from eleven Arab countries competing in theoretical and practical chemistry tests and competitions. AAU had an active presence and a prominent role in sponsoring and supporting this prestigious scientific event. The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib along with Dr. Hamdi Al-Nsairat, Dr. Arij Jaber and Dr. Aya Khalaf represented the university. Representatives from the Faculty of Science and Arts, Ms. Dala Abu Hazim, and student Abdullah Al-Dulaimi also attended. Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib received a commemorative shield in recognition of the university’s role and contribution to the success of the event. Faculty members from the faculty of Pharmacy also participated in supervising the organization of the tests and competitions, as well as following up on their activities. The university provided lab coats for all participating students and supervisors, in addition to distributing brochures introducing the university’s majors, its local and international accreditations, and its prestigious global rankings.
