Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participates in Student Conference at Al Ain University on “AI Without Limits”

Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the second annual student conference organized by the Association of Deans of Student Affairs under the Arab Universities Union, hosted by Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates from January 25 to 29, 2026. The event was held under the patronage of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, under the theme “AI Without Limits: Students’ Journey to the Future.” The university was represented by Prof. Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, Dean of Student Affairs, and the Faculty of Engineering marked a distinguished presence at the conference. A student team composed of Youssef Bdar, Mira Qasem, Omar Al-Tamimi, and Khaled Al-Raoud, under the supervision of Engineer Munira Al-Tayeb, presented a research paper entitled: “WatchNet 2.0: A Dual-AI Bilingual Smart Surveillance and Assistant System.” Youssef Bdar represented the team during the conference sessions. This participation highlights the university’s commitment to strengthening its institutional presence in Arab academic forums, supporting student participation in specialized scientific conferences, developing students’ research and innovation skills, and promoting Arab academic collaboration. It aligns with the university’s strategic vision of keeping pace with technological developments and contributing to the knowledge-based economy. The conference witnessed extensive academic participation, with over 120 researchers presenting more than 120 papers, representing 26 universities from 10 Arab countries, reflecting the growing Arab interest in student scientific research and advanced applications of artificial intelligence.
