Al-Ahliyya Amman University organizes Talents X Cancer Competition in cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Center

Under the auspices of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) implemented the "Talents x Cancer" competition as part of the Jordan Defies Cancer campaign. A group of schools supporting the King Hussein Cancer Foundation participated in the competition by nominating talents for their students to compete for the first three places. The competition also included a panel of judges consisting of experts in evaluating artistic talents, namely: Mr. Nader Sweidan / Director of the Arena Theater at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Mrs. Manar Al-Abdulallah / Expert in Artistic Talent Assessment, and artist Fouad Hijazi Mrs. Rana Al-Ghafri, Director of the Advocacy and Government Affairs Department at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, gave a speech in which she stressed the importance of awareness in the prevention of cancer and explained the initiatives undertaken by the Foundation to enhance the role of Jordanian youth in fighting cancer and how to use artistic talents to spread awareness and shed light on this disease. Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Muntaha Al-Gharaibeh, gave a speech welcoming the representatives of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, the participating schools, their students and students' families and stressed the importance of cooperation between universities and schools to promote community culture and awareness of cancer prevention.
