Al-Ahliyya Amman University, only private university to receive funding for research project from Scientific Research Fund

Al-Ahliyya Amman University signed an agreement to finance research and innovative projects with the Fund for Supporting Scientific Research and Innovation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Thursday, 12-8-2021 at the Ministry Headquarters.The agreement, which was signed by The President of the University Dr. Sari Hamdan, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammed Khair Abu Kudais and Vice President of the University - Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Khaled Al-Kaabana, came after the university requested support for several applied research projects.It is worth mentioning that Al-Ahliyya Amman University was the only private university to receive funding for a distinguished research project entitled Creating a protein test (Ran) as an indicator of the spread of cancer cells of malignant breast cancer in patients in Jordan by Dr. Mohammed Al-Tannani, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in partnership with a group of researchers, and in cooperation with al-Hussein Cancer Center. This reflects the university's vision to improve the level of education and scientific research.The Fund for Supporting Scientific Research and Innovation in the Ministry of Higher Education has provided support of more than JD 1.4 million for (31) research and innovation projects.
