Al-Ahliyya Amman University Implements a Quarterly Drinking Water Quality Testing and Verification Program (2025)
As part of its commitment to providing a healthy and safe campus environment with the highest levels of quality control, Al-Ahliyya Amman University continues to implement its Quarterly Drinking Water Quality Testing and Verification Program across all university facilities.
The testing is conducted routinely by the Pharmacological and Diagnostic Research Center (PDRC), in direct coordination with the Medical Services Department, and includes comprehensive chemical and bacteriological analyses of drinking water samples from various campus buildings. These tests ensure full compliance with Jordanian water quality standards and public health requirements.
This program aims to reinforce confidence within the university community regarding the reliability and safety of the drinking water system, ensuring that students, faculty, staff, and visitors have access to clean and safe water at all times. The initiative also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) by establishing consistent monitoring practices and ensuring high-quality water across the campus.
The University administration emphasized that this program is one of the core pillars of AAU’s health and safety system and reflects its strong dedication to upholding rigorous quality standards and providing top-tier services to its academic community.
