Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosts the meeting of Pharmacists Association and Deans of Faculty of Pharmacy in Jordanian universities
President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Taher Shakhshir, Minister of Environment, met the Council of Pharmacists Association and deans of faculties of pharmacy in the Jordanian universities. The meeting is in line with Al-Ahliyya Amman University belief in the need to communicate with all institutions of the local community for the benefit of the country. Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University, after welcoming the valued guests, expressed his appreciation for this unique and first of its kind step in which the deans of faculties of Pharmacy in the Jordanian universities meet to discuss matters of interest to the faculties of Pharmacy. On the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Maher Shorbaji, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Director of Public and Cultural Relations, presented a data show of the Fourth International Health Care Conference set to be held in Al-Ahliyya Amman University on 4/5/2011 in terms of participants, working papers, sessions and workshops that will be held during the conference in collaboration with the Pharmacists Association. He also indicated the workshops that will be held on the sidelines of the conference in collaboration with the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy in Arab Countries of the League of Arab States, related to adopting faculties of Pharmacy standards. The attendees praised Al-Ahliyya Amman University sponsorship and distinct initiative for hosting this fruitful meeting. They indicated the importance of constant communication as an effective tool for the continuity of the march of progress and success. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem presented a memorial shield to Dr. Mohammed Ababneh, Chairman of the Pharmacists Association.
