Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts National Tempus Workshop

Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted the first national meeting of Tempus project for Master s Program in intelligent transportation systems. The consortium of the project consist of Egypt and a number of EU countries. The meeting was attended by representatives from the University of Jordan, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Mutah University and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The works of this project were addressed in the meeting. Dr. Wael Awad reviewed international expertise in the Master s Program in smart transportation systems. On the other hand, Dr. Fahmi Abu Rub addressed the mechanism for assessing the local universities potential for offering intelligent transportation systems programs. Dr. Ahmed Salayma presented an intervention on the administrative and legal procedures applied by the European Union in Tempus program. Dr. Lina Shabib addressed the works performed by Al-Ahliyya Amman University in terms of preparing the Programs logo and website, which is under construction in cooperation with Hourani e-Learning Centre.
