Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hospitality and Culinary Department meets with Tourism and Hospitality Skills Sector Council
For the aim of building bridges of cooperation between the institutions of society, Al-ahliyya Amman University, represented by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, and assistant president for foreign affairs, Dr. Anas Al-Saud, Mr. Amin Al-Ardha, And Ms. Mays Al-Kurdi, Coordinator of Marketing and Public Relations, held a meeting with the President of the Council, Mr. Mohammed Al-Qasim, Mr. Bassam Al-Twal, and Mr. Raed Bdeir, members of the Council, in order to review plans and ways of cooperation with the aim of holding training courses in the near future. The Tourism and Hospitality Skills Sector Council is a major step in strengthening Jordan's tourism and hospitality sector, established with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The council is the result of a partnership between the Professional and Technical Skills Development Authority and the private sector, which will play an important role in reforming technical and professional education and training, and supporting the sector to identify the needs of skills, as well as developing standards for professional skills.
