Al-Ahliyya Amman University holds career day for Amazon

Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in cooperation with Amazon International, organized a career day for university students and alumni. The event was attended by Prof. Hussein Al-Yassin, Dean of the School of Business, and Prof. Anas Al-Saud, Assistant President for Foreign Affairs, and a number of faculty and administrative staff members at the university. The event was held on Wednesday 12/01/2022 at the Arena Theatre. During today's activities, a detailed presentation was given about Amazon, its presence in Jordan, its branches, the distinguished services it provides to its customers, the mechanism for outsourcing its staff, and its training systems. The presentation was concluded with a success story by one of the University's students who had joined the company team. The mechanism of employment and vacancies available during this period and the privileges and flexibility the company offers for university students were also discussed. The opportunity to apply for a “customer service” position with the company was opened in coordination with the Director of the Commercial Liaison Office and Dr. Ahmed Al-Damour, Head of Business and E-Commerce and Management Information Systems Departments, Dr. Hossam Yassin. The day's activities were concluded by the distribution of souvenirs which was followed by a competition for students. Three winners were selected. At the end of the event, the floor was opened for questions and queries to the company's team. It is worth noting that a memorandum of understanding was signed between the university and the company, as this event is the beginning of cooperation in various fields between them.
