Al-Ahliyya Amman University graduates the first class of Professional Diploma in Retail Pharmacy Management

The Field Pharmacist Training Committee, Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized the graduation ceremony of the first class of “Professional Diploma in Retail Pharmacy Management” students.The ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Inaam Khalaf, Vice President of the University, and Dr. Lara Abbasi, on behalf of Dr. Amjad Al-Arian, Director General of Pharmacy One Chain. The training diploma included 150 theoretical and practical credit hours, spent by the students at Pharmacy One Chain. Students were trained on taking care of patients and providing them with the best advice, how to feed the pharmacy with drugs, in addition to financial analysis and planning, pharmacy marketing and quality control, and promoting volunteer work.This course is provided specifically for graduate pharmacy students and working pharmacists. Al-Ahliyya Amman University is the first university to offer these courses, which aim to open up new horizons for the Faculty of Pharmacy students. This will enhance their competitiveness, refine their professional personality, and qualify them to engage in the labor market. The lecture was attended by members of the Field Pharmacist Training Committee, faculty members, and students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences.
