Al-Ahliyya Amman University Conducts Specialized Water Hygiene and Maintenance Training for Technicians (2025)
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and strengthen preventive maintenance practices across campus, Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a specialized training program in 2025 titled “Water Hygiene and Maintenance Training for Technicians.” The program was delivered by the Sustainability Center, in collaboration with the Facilities and Maintenance Department.
The training included hands-on practical sessions targeting maintenance technicians, focusing on hygienic cleaning procedures for water dispensers and fountains, proper filter replacement, and routine safety inspections to ensure the efficient and safe operation of all drinking water facilities throughout the university.
This initiative aims to enhance the technical skills of maintenance personnel, reinforce accountability and service quality, and promote a strong culture of preventive maintenance, ensuring that students, faculty, and staff have access to safe and clean drinking water at all times.
The University emphasized that this program represents an important step in strengthening the infrastructure related to water services and advancing the university’s commitment to health and safety standards. The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) by promoting continuous improvement in water system management.
