Al-Ahliyya Amman University Conducts a Training Workshop on Wastewater Safety and Hygiene Awareness for 2025
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance occupational health and safety across campus, Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a specialized training workshop in 2025 titled “Wastewater Safety and Hygiene Awareness.” The workshop was held through joint coordination between the Medical Services Department and the Women’s Health Center.
The workshop targeted maintenance staff and university students, providing practical training on safe handling of wastewater, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and essential hygiene and sanitation practices that contribute to a safer working and learning environment.
This initiative aimed to strengthen occupational safety standards and highlight the direct connection between wastewater management and public health. It also plays a significant role in supporting Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by promoting preventive health practices and raising awareness among the campus community.
The University administration emphasized that this workshop is part of a series of ongoing training programs designed to promote a safe and healthy workplace, reinforce a culture of prevention, and support the university’s vision of fostering a sustainable and secure campus environment.
