Al-Ahliyya Amman’s Women's Health Center holds its second session to build its strategic plan
Within the series of sessions to be held aiming to build the strategic plans of the Center for Women's Health, the Center held the second dialogic session entitled Women's Health between Reality and Ambition, chaired by the Center's Director, Professor Dr. Montaha Gharaibah, and with the participation of a group of consultants and specialists from different medical sectors. The session aimed at building innovative methodologies, programs, and studies to be included in the center's strategic plan. During the session, Dr. Rana Abu Hawij, Deputy Dean for Women's Health Center Affairs, gave a brief presentation on the center, including its vision, mission, core values, objectives of the center, and its organizational structure. She also highlighted the most important recommendations evolving from the previous dialogic session held with a group of community women in Al-Balqa governorate. The Center looked forward to identifying the most important health challenges facing the reality of women in Jordan in general, and in Al-Balqa governorate in particular, thereby identifying opportunities for creating partnerships, programs, and innovative studies within its strategic plans. Participants presented many pressing health issues and proposed methodologies that contribute to their resolution. They also expressed their blessings and appreciation for the remarkable constructive step planned by the administration of Al-Ahliyya Amman University to establish the Women's Health Center, declaring their absolute support for the Center's management in providing services that support women.
