Al-Ahliyya Amman’s students participate in Horica exhibition

Students of the Hospitality and Culinary Management Program/ Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the program “at the Horica Exhibition,” which was held under the auspices of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities H.E. Mr. Nayef Al Fayez, from December 7-9, 2021. The exhibition is one of the largest specialized exhibitions in hospitality, food, and beverage services industry in the region and is held annually in Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt. The Hospitality and Culinary arts Management Program has been recently created at the University to meet the needs of the labor market and in cooperation with Movempick Hotels and Resorts Jordan. The specialty is unique in jordan and the Arab region and aims to train and qualify students in the latest means of hospitality so that they can work in all hotels and restaurants of the Kingdom. The study plan of the program consists of (132) credit hours studied over four years. Around (60%) of core courses are dedicated for the practical side and are taken in training and production kitchens and laboratories which are equipped with the latest equipment and technologies and are located in the Arena complex on campus.
