Al-Ahliyya Amman receives a delegation from Fudan University of China

The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, received a delegation from Fudan University of China, headed by its Vice President, Dr. Zhimin Chen, to discuss ways of academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan expressed the depth of brotherly relations between the Jordanian and Chinese sides, and stressed that this visit will support the bonds of cooperation between the two universities, especially the good scientific reputation enjoyed by Fudan University and the science and knowledge it provides and its efforts to provide students with all the skills and information necessary to complete their educational journey. In addition to the Vice President of Fudan University, the delegation included Dr. Li Chen, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Jianbo Luo, Dean of the School of International Cultural Exchange, Ms. Yefang Xu, Deputy Director of the Office of Global Partnerships, Dr. Jingyuan Xu from the Institute of Global Public Policy, Mr. Qiang Wan, Director of the Office of Global Partnerships, and Dr. Yijia Jing. Dean of the Institute for Global Public Policy. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Musleh Al-Tarawneh - Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Muntaha Al-Gharaibeh - Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Tanani - Dean of the Faculties of Pharmacy and Supportive Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mutasim Abdul Jaber - Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Fairouz Abu Swailem - Deputy Director of the Global Liaison Center, and Ms. Reem Abed - Head of the Reputation and Communication Department. Dr. Fairouz Abu Swailem, Deputy Director of the Global Liaison Center, gave a full presentation of the university's establishment, specializations and faculties, and the most important activities and services it provides to students and the local community, then touched on the most important scientific and academic achievements made by the university in various fields until it became comparable to the most prestigious universities. It is noteworthy that the delegation's visit to the university comes as part of its visit to Jordan, in coordination with the Association of Arab Universities. During the visit, the delegation visited some of the university's facilities as well as the faculties of pharmacy and nursing. At the end of the meeting, gifts and commemorative shields were exchanged between the two parties.
