Al-Ahliyya Amman Pharmacy College organizes medical day to raise awareness of importance of early breast cancer detection

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a medical day to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer at the Zai Charitable Society / Salt Governorate on 11 December 2021.The campaign included an awareness lecture by health educator Zahra Nasser on the importance of early detection of breast cancer using mammograms. She conducted a free clinical examination of the women participating in the event.Dr. Lubna Gharaibah, Head of Biopharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy, also gave a lecture on the critical role of obesity as a risk factor of breast cancer, and Dr. Zainab Zakaria gave a lecture on antioxidants in food.
