Acting Cultural Attaché of Saudi Arabia Visits Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Prof. Sari Hamdan, University President, , received Prof. Mohammed bin Khuzaym Al-Shammari, Acting Cultural Attaché of Saudi Arabia in Jordan and Supervisor of the Cultural Attaché Office in Lebanon, in his office yesterday. The official visit aimed to enhance academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides. The meeting was attended by Ms. Reem Al-Barhoumi, Director of Cultural and Media Affairs at the Saudi Cultural Attaché Office, Mr. Qasem Al-Jazi, and student Ali Khaled Al-Mustanir, the representative of Saudi students at the university. From Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Hadeel Al-Yaseen, Advisor to the President and Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and Prof. Eman Al-Nazli, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, were present. In the context of advancing higher education programs and mutual cooperation, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening academic partnerships and supporting students to achieve shared visions that serve both parties' academic and professional aspirations. Discussions included proposals to build leadership capacities in the healthcare sector and enhance integration between nursing and management to improve the quality of healthcare services. The University President highlighted the strong ties between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia across various fields, particularly the distinguished collaboration in higher education. Prof. Hadeel Al-Yaseen emphasized the importance of creating joint programs and collaborations in various fields and courses to advance higher education in both countries. Prof. Eman Al-Nazli praised the joint cooperation in nursing and the centers affiliated with the Faculty of Nursing, commending Saudi students for their academic excellence, diligence, and ethical conduct. As part of his visit, Prof. Mohammed bin Khuzaym Al-Shammari and the accompanying delegation visited the Faculty of Nursing, where they were received by Dr. Omar Al-Zyoud, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. The delegation also toured the faculty, including the simulation labs at Al-Ahliyya Center for Health Training. Prof. Khaldoun Hamdan provided a detailed explanation of the center's objectives and services, highlighting the simulation lab equipped with state-of-the-art technology, which is among the most advanced in the Middle East. The delegation reviewed the educational and training services offered by the center, alongside specialized courses designed to enhance students' practical and academic competencies. Pharmacist Hanin Al-Momani presented a comprehensive overview of the Women's Health Center managed by Dr. Mona Al-Nsour. She detailed the center's goals and pioneering services aimed at improving women's health and providing community support, as well as the future activities planned for students, including Saudi students at the university, focusing on serving the local community. The tour demonstrated the university's seriousness, dedication, and commitment to providing comprehensive educational and training services aligned with the latest global standards. Prof Al-Shammari commended Al-Ahliyya Amman University for its outstanding efforts in serving Saudi students, expressing his gratitude to the university and the Faculty of Nursing for their courses and activities provided to Saudi students from all universities. He noted that these initiatives reflect the university's strong focus on educational excellence and professional development.
