AAU's Multimedia and Graphic Design Department Explores National Packaging Center

In a dynamic initiative, the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, our AAU, orchestrated an engaging field visit to the National Packaging Center on January 10, 2024. The visit, organized for students enrolled in the Packaging Design course, was masterfully coordinated by course instructor Ahmed Issa and administrative staff member Rund Hazeen. Students gained valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies and devices employed in the design of packaging, particularly for diverse products such as food items. Youssef Abu Atieh, the center's director, along with his team, led an informative tour, unveiling the intricate stages of packaging design, including conception, cutting, and assembly. This endeavor aligns with the department's commitment to enriching the educational experience by seamlessly connecting academic knowledge with real-world market dynamics.
