AAU's Faculty of Agricultural Technology Inks MoU with Global Company Nunhems O-BASF
As part of its strategy to strengthen collaboration in scientific, research, and training fields with various global companies in agriculture, and in line with the university's commitment to enhancing partnerships with leading companies to provide exceptional training opportunities for its students, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at our AAU signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dutch company Nunhems O-BASF on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Nunhems O-BASF specializes in seed production technology and global agricultural quality improvement.
The MoU was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, representing AAU President, and Eng. Moath Al-Tamimi, representing Nunhems O-BASF, with the presence of faculty members and administrative staff, as well as the research and development team from Nunhems O-BASF.
The MoU aims to provide exceptional training opportunities for the students of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, enhancing their skills and professional capabilities to enter the job market with distinction. Students are expected to benefit from Nunhems O-BASF's expertise in improving crop quality and applying the latest agricultural technologies.
Nunhems O-BASF is a global leader in vegetable seed production and is part of the BASF Group, one of the largest companies in the world. The company is known for providing comprehensive agricultural solutions, including high-quality seed production, innovative agricultural technologies, and support for farmers to improve their practices, increase productivity, and enhance quality. By signing this MoU, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology hopes to enhance the capabilities of its graduates and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to keep up with modern developments in agriculture, ensuring a promising future in their fields.
