AAU Welcomes a Delegation from Ajman University, UAE

The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Sari Hamdan, welcomed the President of Ajman University, Dr. Karim Seghir, who was accompanied by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Saleh, and the Executive Director of Operations, Mr. Rabih Al-Khafash. During the meeting, discussions centered on strengthening cooperation between the two universities, focusing on student and faculty exchange programs, the development of joint academic initiatives, and leveraging opportunities for enhanced scientific collaboration. Prof. Hamdan reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering academic and scientific partnerships, emphasizing that both institutions are home to distinguished faculty members with esteemed academic reputations. As part of the visit, the delegation toured several university facilities, including the Faculty of Dentistry. They also visited the Faculty of Nursing, where they were received by the Dean, Prof. Iman Al-Nazli, as well as the Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management. At the latter, the delegation was welcomed by Executive Director, Lecturer Jihan Al-Sahaouneh, who provided an overview of the faculty. Dr. Seghir expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and commended Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s academic and technological advancements. He also highlighted Ajman University’s eagerness to establish a fruitful collaboration that would benefit both institutions. The meeting was attended by several representatives from Al-Ahliyya Amman University, including Prof. Hadeel Yaseen, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Advisor to the President; Prof. Ahmed Abu Orabi, Dean of Scientific Research; Prof. Bashar Al-Tarawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Technical Education; Prof. Qasem Khurma, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; Dr. Fayrouz Abu Sweilem, Director of the Global Engagement Center; Mr. Khaled Al-Zoubi, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department; Eng. Ahmed Al-Hourani, Director of the Marketing and Communication Unit; and Ms. Reem Abed, Head of Reputation and Communication at the Global Engagement Center.
