AAU Student Bana Al-Saafin Named Wellness Ambassador for WHO in Collaboration with Nahno Platform
Bana Al-Saafin, a student at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, has been selected as a Wellness Ambassador for the World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with Nahno—an initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation.
Throughout her academic journey, Bana has played a significant role in promoting volunteerism and community engagement. She served as president of the “AAU Youth Against Cancer” club for four consecutive years and was previously named Volunteerism Ambassador at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
A key milestone in her journey came at the end of 2024, when she was selected to join the WHO’s Wellness Ambassadors Program, where she focused her efforts on anti-smoking advocacy and raising awareness about its health risks.
Through this program, and in recognition of her impactful work, Bana was nominated by the Ministry of Youth to represent Jordan at the Arab Youth Empowerment Conference in Riyadh as part of the “Nashama” leadership development program.
