AAU Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with The Human Rights Organization Rain Collective

Al-Ahliyya Amman University has signed a memorandum of understanding with the human rights organization “Rain Collective Ltd” to strengthen cooperation in combating human trafficking and to build effective partnerships that enhance community awareness. The MoU was signed on behalf of the University by Prof. Ahmad Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and on behalf of the organization by its founder and CEO, Jason Pope, in the presence of Prof. Osaid Dneibat, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Hamzah Al-Ayaideh, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies. The memorandum stems from national and humanitarian duty and reflects the University’s commitment to its social responsibility in addressing human challenges. It aims to build cooperation based on mutual respect, professionalism and ethics, and to bridge knowledge and practice gaps through the integration of academic expertise with field efforts. Prof. Hamdan emphasized that the agreement embodies the University’s commitment to its human and social role in raising awareness and combating negative phenomena. Jason Pope expressed his pride in collaborating with the University and praised its academic and community efforts in supporting humanitarian causes. The MoU focuses on joint action to protect human dignity and prevent human trafficking by launching training programs, applied research and awareness campaigns designed to empower the community, support victims and promote a culture of human rights.
