AAU Partners with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel for Training Culinary Arts and Hospitality Students

AAU, represented by our President, Professor Sari Hamdan, signed a collaboration agreement with The Ritz-Carlton Amman, represented by its General Manager, Mr. Tarek Darbas, to provide training for students in the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality. The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Anas Al-Saud, Vice President for International Relations and Quality Affairs, and Dr. Suzy Hatough, Dean of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality. The agreement focuses on exchanging expertise to develop educational programs and practical training, preparing students for careers in the local and global tourism job market. Professor Sari Hamdan noted that this agreement reflects the university’s commitment to delivering high-quality education aligned with market demands, emphasizing that collaboration with a global hotel like The Ritz-Carlton enhances students’ opportunities to gain international experience and improve their skills. For his part, Mr. Tarek Darbas expressed his pleasure at this partnership, highlighting the importance of supporting educational initiatives to prepare a new generation of highly qualified professionals in the hospitality industry. At the end of the visit, following the signing, the university president honored the guest in appreciation of his visit. Dr. Hatough accompanied the university's guest on a tour of the facilities of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality.
