AAU Hosts “Saudi Students’ Gathering” under the Patronage of the Saudi Ambassador

Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted the “Saudi Students’ Gathering,” held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid Al-Farhan Al Saud, in the presence of official and academic figures, reflecting the depth of fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries. The event was attended by the Acting Cultural Attaché of the Saudi Cultural Mission in Jordan, Professor Mohammad bin Khuzaym Al-Shammari, the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Sari Hamdan, the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, along with a number of academic and social figures and a large gathering of Saudi students enrolled at the university. In his address, the Ambassador emphasized the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to following up on its students abroad and providing a supportive environment that enables academic excellence and strengthens their national identity. He also commended Jordanian universities, particularly AAU, for hosting Saudi students and offering them a distinguished educational environment. Professor Sari Hamdan welcomed the attendees and expressed AAU’s pride in hosting this group of Saudi students, reaffirming the university’s commitment to providing continuous academic and social support to enhance their university experience and help them achieve their future aspirations. Professor Mohammad bin Khuzaym Al-Shammari highlighted the importance of such gatherings in strengthening direct communication with students, understanding their needs, and building bridges of trust and cooperation, which positively reflects on their academic journey. The event featured interactive moments in which Saudi students expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which fosters a sense of belonging and connection while providing a platform for networking and exchanging experiences. They also praised the university’s continuous support and attention to international students.
