AAU Hosts A Lecture by Captain Al- Rawashdeh on the Damages and Dangers of Drugs (8/11/2018)

The AAU Pharmaceutical Field Training Committee in the Faculty of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences invited Captain Al- Rawashdeh from the Anti-Narcotics Department to deliver a valuable lecture on the damages and dangers of drug abuse on the individual and society, addiction symptoms and methods of the prevention and treatment. The lecture which took place on Thursday, 8/11/2018 was attended by a number of faculty members and students from the Faculty of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences and from other specializations as well. During the lecture, Captain Al-Rawashdeh elaborated on the methods used by the dealers to attract university students, luring them and converting them from successful people who are vitally involved in life to addicted people who are isolated from society.At the end of the lecture, he commended the efforts exerted by the Anti-Narcotics Department for addicts in embracing, treating and protecting them against the dangers of advanced addiction.
