AAU Honors Sanitation Workers of Greater Salt Municipality During Ramadan

In a meaningful humanitarian gesture, Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a Ramadan Iftar banquet to honor sanitation workers from the Greater Salt Municipality and distributed charity parcels to them, in appreciation of their continuous efforts in serving the community and maintaining the cleanliness and environmental well-being of the city. The Iftar was attended by Professor Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Activities and Community Service and Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, along with Mr. Ali Al-Batayneh, Chairman of the Greater Salt Municipality Committee, in addition to a number of municipal employees. The event was organized by the Higher Committee for Activities and Community Service in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, as part of its community and humanitarian initiatives aimed at reinforcing the values of solidarity and compassion and promoting the spirit of giving and volunteerism during the holy month of Ramadan. Professor Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyyat emphasized that this initiative reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening its community engagement and expressing its deep appreciation for sanitation workers, who represent a commendable model of dedication, hard work, and service. He also noted the university’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote respect and appreciation for this group, whose efforts play a vital role in serving society and preserving the environment. For his part, Mr. Ali Al-Batayneh expressed his sincere appreciation for this generous initiative, noting that such activities highlight the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and municipalities in serving the local community and promoting the values of collaboration and solidarity. He also commended the role of Al-Ahliyya Amman University in supporting humanitarian and community initiatives.
