AAU Health Training Center Concludes Basic Life Support Course

On November 23, 2023, our University's Health Training Center, affiliated with the Faculty of Nursing, concluded the "Basic Life Support" training course, accredited by the American Heart Association. The course aimed to equip participating students with high-quality Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills for adults, children, and infants, along with the proper use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED). Emphasis was placed on the importance of teamwork in resuscitation efforts and the effectiveness of multi-disciplinary team performance during resuscitation. The course also covered skills in managing choking incidents for adults and infants.
