AAU’Faculty of Pharmacy Forges Partnership with Saudi Hospital
Professor Sari Hamdan, our President, signed a cooperation agreement with Saudi Hospital aimed at implementing specialized medical education programs in collaboration between the university's Faculty of Pharmacy and Saudi Hospital.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the hospital by its Medical Director, Dr. Bassam Zaidan Haddad. The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Wisam Ghazi Ammari, the Assistant Dean for Pharmaceutical Training Affairs, Dr. Aya Al-Kabareety, and Dr. Anas Abed.
The agreement entails the establishment of joint pharmaceutical and medical research programs, providing an opportunity for both parties' staff to participate in them, exchange information, research findings, and medical scientific discoveries. Additionally, the agreement stipulates the exchange of expertise in various medical, pharmaceutical, and technical specialties, as well as enabling pharmacy students at the university to undergo training and practical application in the hospital's different departments.
President Sari Hamdan praised Saudi Hospital's role in providing outstanding and advanced medical services, affirming that this partnership will enhance the university's position as a leading academic institution in pharmaceutical education and scientific research in Jordan and the region. The management of Saudi Hospital also commended the academic and research reputation of AAU in various disciplines, as well as the efforts of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the university in promoting partnerships and cooperation between the academic and medical sectors to achieve their common goals in serving the community, developing the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, and realizing sustainable development objectives.
