AAU and Arena Club Host Ramadan Iftar for Gaza Children and Their Families Undergoing Treatment in Jordan

In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and compassion, Arena Club, in cooperation with Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s Deanship of Student Affairs, hosted a special Ramadan Iftar and evening gathering in honor of 200 children from Gaza and their families currently receiving medical treatment in Jordan. The event was held in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein. The Iftar, which took place at Arena Theatre, is part of the ongoing efforts by Arena Club and Al-Ahliyya Amman University to support the local community, under the patronage of Dr. Maher Hourani, President of Arena Club and Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees. The evening featured a traditional Ramadan meal, entertainment segments, gift distribution, and Eid clothing for the children, leaving a lasting positive impression on the attendees. Poet Rami Al-Yousef recited a touching poem dedicated to Gaza, and the evening concluded with honoring several distinguished children, including Mohammad Ashour, who captivated the audience with his heartfelt poem.
